Adding and Managing Products

This article will help you navigate through the process of adding and managing products, whether they are for sale, available as rental add-ons, or part of a subscription.

Mass Delete

• Select Products: You can select multiple products to delete at once.
• Mass Delete: Click "Mass Delete" to remove the selected products from the system.

Adding New Products

Two Options to Add Products

1. Add a New Product:

   • Ideal for adding products individually.
   • Provides more control over the initial setup.

2. Upload Multiple Products:

   • Useful for bulk uploading products.
   • Download a template, fill in the details, and upload it back to the system

Creating a New Product

1. Click "Add New Product":

2. Enter Product Details:

   • Product Name: This is how the product will be displayed.
   • Manufacturer/Brand: Select from existing or add new (e.g., Yeti).
   • Product Description: Add a description that will appear when a user clicks the info icon during the rental process.
3. Click 'Add Product'

General Tab

• Enable Quick Order: Allows the product to be added quickly to existing orders by an admin (e.g., generator hours, smoking fee).

• Add Waivers/Forms: Link any required waivers or forms that need to be completed during the purchase or rental process.
• Future Use: Allow purchase for future use with options for number of uses and expiration time.

• Subscription Settings:

  • Subscription Only: Set the product as subscription-based.
  • For Sale as a One Time Product: 

SKUs, Quantities, and Personalizations Tab

• Questions and Answers: Add drop-down options (e.g., cooler size).
• Distributor and Part Number: Enter details or select from existing options.
• Inventory: Track quantities to avoid overbooking.

Images Tab

• Add Product Image: Upload an image that will be displayed during the rental or purchase process.

Adding Products to Rentals or Memberships

• Adding to Rentals:

  • Edit Rental Types: Add products to rental types for easy customer access.
  • Find and Add Products: Search and add products by SKU or name.

• Adding to Memberships:

  • Associate Products: Link products to memberships for future use or specific rental terms.
